Parents of a child who suffered life-threatening injuries after getting pushed from the top floor of London's museum have stated their "courageous fighter" has achieved his objective of being able to swim, run, and jump once more.

The French child was aged six when he was hurled from a balcony by a youth, then seventeen.

The boy, who was on holiday with his family in August 2019 when attacked, survived a 98-foot drop but received permanent harm, such as a bleed on the brain and shattered bones.

His family said in an progress report on a fundraising page, they were pleased that he had been able to progress with his jumping, swimming and running before his next operation.

"He doesn't do it similar to youngsters at his age, of course, but we can no longer explain his actions in any other way than by terming it's jumping, swimming, and running."

"It varies, only over a short distance or a very small height, but it's an incredible achievement."

He, who spent a long time in ICU, has continued to build mental stamina.

His family explained although his recall abilities were yet highly constrained, they were effective and advancing, so he was "acquiring a general knowledge at his rate, which more and more permits him to be integrated with other children."

'Objective Met'

Parents noted: "He's also developing, and due to his therapy with the movement specialist, he currently permits himself to rest."

"Previously, to compensate for his disability on the left side, he maintained his right part continuously stiff, which gave him suffering."

"Today, our growing child (we have to face the facts, he's grown up any longer) has understood that he has to take pauses; we have to tell him not as much."

"Subsequent to a number of progressive training sessions, they eventually achieved their 2.5 hour journey. They came back exhausted but delighted. Goal achieved."

After a court case at the central criminal court, the adolescent was found guilty of trying to kill and was incarcerated in 2020 for at least fifteen years.
